4. Face Check Privacy Notice (SevenSales)

To ensure that the correct employee is logging in for work and to prevent check-in fraud (such as someone clocking in for a coworker), the Sevensales app features a voluntary “Face-Check” when you Clock In or Clock Out.

Here is exactly how this works, how we protect your privacy, and what we do with this picture:

1. THE FACE CHECK IS 100% LOCAL (IT NEVER LEAVES YOUR PHONE)

  • All matching is done entirely on your physical mobile device.
  • The app securely downloads your registered work profile picture onto your phone.
  • When you clock in, the camera takes a quick picture of your face and compares it directly on your phone against your profile picture.
  • The picture is NEVER uploaded to the internet, NEVER sent to our servers, and NEVER sent to your company’s servers.

2. YOUR PHOTO IS DELETED INSTANTLY (ZERO RECORDING)

  • The quick photo taken during clock-in is only used for a fraction of a second to check if it matches your profile picture.
  • As soon as the check is complete, the photo is immediately and permanently deleted from the phone’s temporary memory.
  • We do not store, archive, or save these clock-in photos anywhere on the device or on our servers.

3. WE DO NOT COLLECT BIOMETRICS (NO FACE SCANS)

  • We do not collect digital facial mapping scans, 3D face structure scans, or biometric templates. The check is simply a standard photo-to-photo visual match.

4. ZERO SHARING

  • Because the photo never leaves your phone and is deleted instantly, we do not—and cannot—share it, sell it, or distribute it to anyone or any third parties.

5. USER CONSENT AND CHOICE

  • Tapping the check-in camera button is completely voluntary. If you prefer not to use the face check, please contact your company administrator to request an alternative attendance logging setup.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information only in the following situations:
